Nice, Capital city of the Riviera, is France's fifth largest city, and has a truly cosmopolitan character with its many international residents, and the second largest airport after Paris connecting to 80 destinations throughtout Europe and the rest of the world.
Since the mid-1960's, the French Riviera has generated a considerable number of jobs in research and development, due in part to the neighbouring French silicon valley, Sophia Antipolis. Over 1 200 companies are located here, employing 25 000 people in sectors covering information technology, health, environment and aerospace. Companies include Accenture, Alcatel Space, Amadeus, Cisco, Galderma, IBM, HP, Philips Semiconductors, SAP, Siemens, Texas Instruments, Thales and Toyota.
The South of France follows a rhythm of easy living, the pleasures of good food, culture and hospitality. The region offers more than 500 annual cultural events covering theater, dance, opera, concerts and art galleries. The best known are the famous Cannes Film Festival, the Nice Jazz Festival, Midem, Mipim.
It's mild climate of 10°C to 30°C are enjoyed by most and offer plenty of occasions to make the best of the outdoor lifestyle. The range of leisure activities is only limited by your imagination : skiing, sailing, diving, golf, tennis, hiking, canoeing, climbing and much more !

AN EXCEPTIONAL WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The Financial Economics Track programmes are located in an elegant, modern construction which is part of the latest building extension of the EDHEC campus Nice, a comfortable, contemporary working environment. EDHEC Business School has fully-equipped, spacious teaching and study rooms for lectures and group work. The whole building is connected with high-speed internet and wireless connections and the school's intranet constitutes a fundamental tool for the student community, faculty and alumni. The library includes the principal business and academic research documentation from around the world.
