An EDHEC graduate was awarded the AFGAP/PRMIA prize, by the French Association of Asset-Liability Managers and the Professional Risk Managers' International Association, in the 2008 edition of a national competition for the best thesis in economics and finance

Colombian born Daniel Mantilla was selected by EDHEC to participate in the prestigious EDHEC's summer "OLYMPIA" programme in 2006 and afterwards entered EDHEC's Risk and Asset Management programme. He was taken on as research assistant in EDHEC's Risk and Asset Management Research Centre for his end of studies internship.
The prize will be awarded at a ceremony in Paris on Thursday, March 27, which will be presided over by the Minister of Higher Education and Research, Valérie Pécresse, in the presence of Daniel Bouton, Chairman and CEO of Société Générale, and Edmond Alphandéry, Chairman of the Financial Professions Centre and former Minister of the Economy from 1993 to 1995
