EDHEC Launches Pan-European Real Estate Survey

As part of a new research programme devoted to real estate, the EDHEC Risk and Asset Management Research Centre is conducting a survey on the real estate investment and risk management practices of institutional investors and asset managers active in Europe.

The aim of the survey is to document how investors approach real estate as an asset class and to look at the adoption of best practices and state-of-the-art tools by the industry.

It looks at target allocation, preferred investment vehicles, performance measurement issues, as well as risk management techniques and expectations about the emerging property derivatives markets.

Early results will be presented to professionals at the upcoming EDHEC Asset Management Days conference in Geneva.
