Aide EDHEC, the student association that helps underprivileged children has just won first prize in the Auchan Foundation Awards.
The Joyeux Troubadours, a branch of the Aide EDHEC Association won the prize worth €8000 for their work in helping to provide a better future for the children of a disadvantaged area of Nice, with the children of this area.
This project has been on the go since 1993 and is now 45 students strong. These volunteers help the children with after-school class work and organise dance workshops, educational visits and holidays for 6-12 year-olds who would otherwise not have access to such leisure activities. 70 children are involved in this year's actions alone.
