Theseus-EDHEC MBA students recently participated in a Parisian conference on the role of the responsible manager in tomorrow's society and which was organized by the INSEAD Alumni Sustainability Roundtable. This was the perfect great opportunity for them to visit the French capital and build up their professional network.
The conference on 10th March, brought together alumni, faculty, and representatives of the business world. Theseus-EDHEC MBA students participated as part of an exchange deal with INSEAD which allows the INSEAD alumni to come to the Timia Conference organised by the Theseus-EDHEC Alumni in April .
Participation in conferences is just one of the ways Theseus-EDHEC MBA uses in the learning process of its students. According to Craig Marsh, director of the programme, the fundamental design of the MBA was made to offer knowledge in different ways. Its framework is to make students understand the business environment, think about potential solutions and then put them into practice, experimenting in a real life situation but in a virtual environment. This programme works as a safety net for its students, who when ready, have the opportunity to apply all their theoretical knowledge to a real business situation during their consulting project for a company.
