M s Marija Dubrovskaja is the latest student to have been awarded a scholarship to ease the costs of her study period in EDHEC Business School for 2006-07.
The Lithuanian student was accepted in the Master of Science in Finance programme and at the same time applied to the EIFFEL Scholarship Programme, launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and managed by Egide. Every year, Egide awards a number of scholarships to elite foreign students wishing to pursue their studies in French schools of higher education.
This year, after examination of 1289 application forms, the selection committee declared Ms Marija Dubrovskaja one of 402 to be granted the coveted EIFFEL Scholarship. Worth €1181 per month, these grants are awarded to high-potential applicants who prove outstanding academic achievement.
Expenses covered in this programme include: travelling expenses to and from France, health insurance and even language courses. Grant holders not only benefit from financial aid however as they receive practical help and advice from Egide who manage and monitor their stay in France.
The integration of high-quality international students is a priority in EDHEC Business School, which itself offers several internal scholarships to applicants showing outstanding academic achievement and financial need.
